I'm Blaise Kal (photo), born in 1985, working and living as web deve­loper in Am­sterdam.

I'm inte­res­ted in grap­hic and inter­action design, and more im­por­tant mat­ters like cats and origami.

I currently work for Mediamatic as a front-­end web de­ve­loper.

YTFM 2009

YTFM is a mashup of You­Tube and Last.fm which plays music video playlists. You can also scrobble the songs you play so that they show up on your Last.fm profile. Play­lists are retrie­ved from Last.fm, You­­Tube deli­vers the music videos. YTFM is pro­gram­med in java­script, uses a flash library for cross-­domain ajax and php for authentication.

Tetris 2008

I pro­grammed and de­sig­ned the game Tetris, using html, java­script, css and paint. Works in all browsers. Use the arrow keys on your key­board to play.
